I put a lot of accent on not being disturbed when I listen to music, watch a movie or just make a call. The background noise can become very annoying for me if I can hear it even when I am listening to something. I have been looking for a headset that would be efficient from this point of view and I found it.
Bose® QuietComfort® 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling® Headphones are the most capable to keep the noise away when I have them on. At first I wanted to see how they fit on my head and the volume of the noise around me has instantly become lower. I think this pair of headphones can even be used just for being able to hear your thoughts. As for how they fit my ears, I think they are very comfortable.
Since these headphones are focused on noise cancellation, I did not really expect to have a crystal clear sound. Bose seems to have that covered as well because I was amazed of the nuances I was able to hear for the first time in songs I had listened tens of times before. The sound quality is definitely top notch.
I was also impressed by the inline microphone. This is basically a hands free set too. Imagine you are in a really crowded place and yet you can speak normally and hear the person you are speaking too very clear. That is simply amazing.
I like the slim case that is included and the way these headphones fold, but to be honest I do not really taken them off.

Here are some of the pros and cons of the Bose® QuietComfort® 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling® Headphones
Realistic and clear sound – The patented TriPort® technology enables you to hear a wide range of sounds that you have never heard before. You can play music or movies and benefit of a very realistic sound. You will not get distracted as easily as before because the outside noise is just blocked by the ear cups.
Best noise reduction system – Every detail about this headset is meant to reduce the noise around you and balance the sound that comes from what you are listening too. You can take calls, listen to music or even audiobooks and not be aware what happens around you.
Hands-free function – The package contains a normal audio cable and another one fitted for your iPhone and for Apple devices. Basically you can take calls just by pushing a button from the remote. You can also change tracks and volume from the same remote.
Comfortable ear cushions – This headset is adjustable and it fits around your ear, avoiding any type of inconvenience.
Can not be used without batteries – Even if these headphones can be connected through an audio cable to almost any device, once the battery runs off they can not be used anymore if the battery is not replaced.
The Bose® QuietComfort® 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling® Headphones were designed to primarily stop the low frequency tones of an airline engine. However, they can be used almost equally effective when you are not on an airplane. I personally enjoy every feature of this headset.
